My days are usually boring, so bare with me here; I don't have much to work off of.
First, I woke up to say goodbye to someone leaving and then fell back asleep for some reason, don't ask me why. It's no so much I'm tired or sleepy, it's that I'm bored and have nothing to do, so I lay in my bed and close my eyes hoping for half of the day to pass by. I finally get out of bed and check my phone. I had a few messages I replied to. I brushed my teeth, and my mom called. She kept bugging me to go see her new house, so I threw on some clothes and she came by and got me. She hadn't moved in yet, but she wanted my opinion on arrangement and paint colors, assuming because I'm gay, and gays usually have a higher sense in fashion, lol.
Anyway, I got there and it was so ugly on the outside, but "It's better than having no home" I told myself. While we were walking in I told my mom, "I have no idea if I can even decorate the outside of this place" laughing. She laughed and unlocked the old screen door. This house is split in two, so she going to live on the bottom half, while someone else lives on the top half. After we walked in, I immediately directed my eyes toward the floor. It was such an amazingly in-good-shape wooden floor; so beautiful! I saw the colors of the room, east/west walls were red, and north/south walls were this ugly mustard color. I told her to keep the red, maybe make it darker, and make the mustard into a light brown or other earth-toned color. She disagreed, but what can ya do, lol. She showed me around and it was surprisingly very large for its outside appearance. I thought it was pretty fantastic actually. It had been renovated on the inside, so of course it would make to be a great home for her. A few walls need repainting and the fireplace bricks need cleaning from a smoke accident, but other than that it was pretty cool.
She took me to get some food really quick, and then dropped me off home. When I got home, I checked all my internet profiles and started many chat conversations for about 2 hours, then my sister-in-law texted me asking if I wanted to watch Grey's Anatomy with her. Of course I did, because I love that show, and I watched about 4 episodes of that. I then played some video games for 30mins, and now, here I am writing this long email about my day.
I hope I didn't bore you too much, lol. I think I fell asleep rereading this, yikes!
Anyway, thanks for listening.
Not many people actually care when they ask me "how was/is your day?"
Sincerely,
Aaron L. Rogers
